The University of Milan Library Service presents 100 Libri per la Pace (100 Books for Peace), an exhibition on the theme of peace, drawn from the book and documentary collections of the University libraries and part of the wider La Statale per la Pace (Statale for Peace) programme.
On 24 February at 11:00, the exhibition will be inaugurated at the Philosophy Library, Via Festa del Perdono 7.
The Rector, Marina Brambilla, and Professor Roberto Cornelli, Delagato per la didattica, la ricerca e la terza missione sui temi della pace e della giustizia sociale (Delegate for teaching, research and third-mission activities on the topics of peace and social justice), will take part in the opening.
The bibliographic exhibition is hosted at two different venues: the Philosophy Library, Via Festa del Perdono (24 February-27 March), and the Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Computer Sciences Library - BICF at Città Studi (25 March-24 April). At the first venue, the exhibition focuses on philosophical thought, political action, civic engagement and artistic expressions related to peace. At the second venue, the exhibition examines the complex relationship between peace and science.
