The recording of the live webinar held on 30 March, which presented the content and features of Acland’s Video Atlas of Human Anatomy and Grant’s Dissection Video Collection, is now available.
Acland’s Video Atlas of Human Anatomy includes over 300 three-dimensional anatomy videos based on real cadaver specimens, narrated by anatomist Robert Acland and his team. The topics covered are clearly labelled and can be easily retrieved through keyword searching.
The new platform, available online since March, offers a simpler and more intuitive interface. New features include short quizzes embedded within the lessons and shareable via permanent links, key terms with definitions and pronunciation audio, an updated video content index, and simplified access through single sign-on for users with federated authentication.
Grant’s Dissection Video Collection consists of 80 high-resolution videos, with more than 14 hours of footage in total, demonstrating Grant’s method of cadaver dissection sequences as described in Grant’s Dissector.
The Grant’s videos, which also feature a navigable and shareable content index, are particularly well suited for advanced anatomy courses and for those specialising in dissection practice.
For all videos, which are in English, Italian subtitles are available.
