The University Library System (SBA) offers BiblioDOC, an online course designed for students working on their final dissertation or degree thesis. The course is also a valuable resource for preparing reports and developing information management skills that will be useful throughout their professional careers.
BiblioDOC helps participants identify, locate, evaluate, and effectively use information retrieved from the University's online and offline resources.
The course is structured around video tutorials and supplementary learning materials and is divided into five modules: Planning a research strategy, Identifying and distinguishing different types of resources, Research methods and tools, Evaluating information, Citing sources and materials. Each module concludes with an assessment test to verify learning outcomes.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants receive an Open Badge, which can support their academic journey and serve as evidence of transferable skills to include in their CV.
The course is available in Italian and English and can be accessed in asynchronous mode through the University's Moodle e-learning platform.
