Agricultural and Food Sciences. Fondo Telesforo Bonadonna e zootecnia agraria di Milano
Since March 2026, the personal collection of Telesforo Bonadonna (Novara, 30 August 1901 – Milan, 8 March 1987) has been officially registered with the Soprintendenza archivistica e bibliografica della Lombardia. Bonadonna was an internationally renowned animal scientist, particularly specializing in the field of artificial insemination in domestic animals, and he served as a professor at the University of Milan from 1935 to 1976.

Thanks to the collaboration between the Library of Agricultural and Food Sciences and Professor Ivan Toschi of the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences at the University of Milan, as well as to the availability of the family of Professor Telesforo Bonadonna, it was possible in 2025 to bring to light the volumes that had belonged to Professor Bonadonna and to establish the collection, which comprises more than 800 titles.
