Alberto Malliani Library - Vialba Centre

Located within the Sacco Hospital, the Library provides 196 seats and five workstations for catalogue and electronic resource consultation. Its collection includes books and serials in biomedical sciences, supporting research, teaching, and professional development.

The 2025 Autumn schedule of courses organized by the University Library Service (SBA) is now online. These courses are designed to introduce users to the use of databases, sessions on reference management software, meetings on bibliometric indicators and are open to the entire university community.

Maintenance work at the Alberto Malliani Library - Vialba Centre from 14 July 2025


From 14 July 2025 the Alberto Malliani Library - Vialba Centre will be undergoing maintenance:

- the Library reduces the numbers of seats
- its collections may not be consulted 
- noise problems

Prompt notice of the sequence of works and the areas involved will be given every day.
