Transformative Agreement IEEE 2025 - 2027 CARE-CRUI
The negotiation team has concluded the discussions for the new IEEE 2025–2027 contract. Operational details regarding the start of the publication process will follow upon the signing of the national contract.
Contents
Access to the contents of the platform IEEE and corresponding authors affiliated to Università degli Studi di Milano may publish open access articles in IEEE hybrid journals with the article processing charge cost (APC) included in the agreement.
Green Open Access
University authors can self-archive their papers in the version accepted for publication on their website or into the Institutional repository.
OA publications management
Corresponding authors may choose to publish their work open access and they must use their institutional address and email address during the submission process. Author is identified as a University corresponding author through the Ringgold Identifier system on the publisher's platform already in use for the management of the publishing process. The agreement allows for OA publishing with author's copyright.
