On 5 November 2025, from 9:00 to 13:00, the University of Milano-Bicocca will host a conference titled Di mano in mano: esplorazioni, percorsi e valorizzazione dei fondi personali (From hand to hand: explorations, paths and valorisation of personal collections). The event is organised by the University of Milano-Bicocca together with the Lombardy segment of AIB, the Italian Association of Libraries.
The programme features two speakers from the University of Milan: Roberta Moro, a librarian of the Agricultural and Food Sciences Library, and Ivan Toschi, a researcher of the Department of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. Together, they will give a presentation titled La biblioteca e le carte di Telesforo Bonadonna: fonti inedite per lo studio della zootecnia del 20° secolo (The library and documents of Telesforo Bonadonna: unpublished sources for the study of zootechnics in the 20th century). Telesforo Bonadonna was an internationally renowned researcher and science communicator who worked for more than fifty years in animal husbandry, specialising in the artificial insemination of domestic animals.
