On Monday, 13 October the reading room of the Earth Sciences Library will host Geologia in pratica (Geology in practice), an event organised by the Department of Earth Sciences “Ardito Desio” as part of the Planet Earth Week initiative.
Laboratory instruments will be placed in the room, allowing participants to learn more about the work of geologists and have a first-hand experience with fossils, raw materials, geological maps and microscopes, with the ultimate goal of helping them grasp the importance of studying and understanding our planet.

On the day of the event, the reading room will not be available for library users.
