UnimiPlay, the University of Milan’s digital video library, has been launched as an innovative teaching resource and to enhance the University’s audiovisual heritage.
Developed by the Centre for Teaching Innovation and Multimedia Technology (CTU) in partnership with the University Library Service, this platform provides streaming access to the University’s audiovisual collections, with the complete catalogue available via Minerva.
While resource descriptions are freely accessible, viewing the videos is restricted to a single user per resource, accessible only from within the University’s internal network and upon authentication using Unimi credentials. Academic staff may reserve videos for teaching purposes.
The initial collection includes resources curated by CTU and housed at Library of the Centre for Language Mediation and Intercultural Communication.
