- UpToDate e Lexidrug for quick decisions and EBM – Tuesday 15 April at 4.00 p.m.
UptoDate is an EBM clinical decision support tool that aims to help healthcare professionals quickly make the best decisions for patient care. It covers 25 specializations and includes over 38,000 images and 12,800 topics, for each of which the authors (and their reviewers), update date and bibliography are indicated in detail. The contents are written entirely in English, but with the possibility of searching for pathologies, symptoms, procedures and drugs also in other languages, including Italian.
UpToDate Lexidrug provides clear, concise, and easily searchable evidence-based, peer-reviewed drug information, including dosing, administration, warnings, and precautions, as well as clinical content such as clinical practice guidelines, IV compatibility according to Trissel's 2 Clinical Pharmaceutics Database, and other tools. It is independent and updated every business day. The editorial board is composed of pharmacists with advanced clinical training and consolidated experience.
