Filippo Crivelli was a director of musical theatre, drama, and television and radio productions. The archive gathers a wide range of materials related to his directorial work, spanning from the 1950s to the first decade of the 2000s.
Filippo Crivelli (Milan, 1928–2022) was an internationally renowned director, active from the 1950s in musical theatre and drama, as well as in television and radio productions.
The Crivelli Collection includes a diverse array of materials documenting his directorial career from the 1950s to the early 2000s: notes, photographs, sketches, audio and video recordings, expense reports, scripts, correspondence, opera scores and librettos, press clippings, and theatre programmes. Alongside his archival papers, Crivelli also donated several specialist magazines and a bibliographic collection to the Library.
The collection is currently undergoing archival reorganisation and is not yet available for consultation.
