Interlibrary Services for Libraries
Service conditions for libraries and documentation centres of Italian and international institutions
The University of Milan Library System provides its resources to libraries and documentation centres upon request through interlibrary loans and document delivery. Libraries and documentation centres must contact the relevant library holding the documents or the centralised service points as specified in the contact list below.
The University Library System is part of the NILDE network and prioritises free reciprocal services.
International libraries are required to reimburse shipping costs using two or more IFLA vouchers.
The following items are excluded from interlibrary loans: textbooks, serials, books over 100 years old, rare books, reference-only materials, valuable or special monographs, and items in poor condition.
