Language Mediation and Intercultural Communication - Presentation of the book "Sorella d'inchiostro" and a bibliographic exhibition on migration-related themes

On Tuesday 25 November at 3 p.m., in the library of the School of Language Mediation and Intercultural Communication based in Sesto San Giovanni (Milan), Itala Vivan, together with Claudia Gualtieri and Giuseppe Sergio, will present the volume Sorella d'inchiostro (“Sister of Ink”). This initiative forms part of a wider reflection on Italian-language writing, launched with Daniele Comberiati’s lecture La lingua e la letteratura italiane della migrazione: tempo di bilanci? (“Italian Language and Literature of Migration: Time for Reflection?”) and continued with the exhibition Per un primo canone della letteratura italiana della migrazione (“Towards a First Canon of Italian Migrant Literature”), curated by Giuseppe Sergio and hosted in the School’s library between April and May 2025.
