Rizzi Collection
This collection houses the “Biblioteca bibliografica per lo studio dei beni librari e archivistici italiani” (Bibliographic Library for the Study of Italian Books and Archives) by Renzo Rizzi, a Milanese antiquarian bookseller. It also includes a selection of rare and antique works.

The Bibliographical Library was acquired by the University between 2003 and 2004, following a proposal by Renzo Rizzi himself, who stated: “I compiled the entire collection over fifty years of work (I began in 1952), focusing on printed editions, but above all on repertories concerning manuscripts, historical documents, autographs and archives.”
The collection consists of over 3,000 works in approximately 7,000 volumes, the vast majority of which are original editions (with only a few facsimile reprints), including several hundred pamphlets and minor fascicles.
