History and Historical Documentation Library

Located at the main campus in Via Festa del Perdono, the Library provides a 100-seats reading room. The collections cover history from the Middle Ages to the contemporary era, including library sciences, Italian local history, international relations, women’s and gender history, fashion history, and consumer studies

On Friday, 12 December there may be changes in library hours and services due to a general strike.

12-15 December: interruption of IT services

From 12 to 15 December, the University’s online services will be temporarily unavailable. This may also affect some library services. Here’s what you need to know:
•    Reading rooms: you won’t be able to book seats during these days. Don’t worry—access will be open and free, no reservation needed
•    Minerva catalogue: your personal area might be down, so you may not be able to request loans or renew items
•    Digital Library: electronic resources could be temporarily inaccessible
•    Library Service website: the site may not be reachable

Christmas closures

Amended opening hours during the Christmas season:

  • December 22nd and 23rd: 9:00-16:00
  • December 24th to January 6th: Closed

Loan deadlines will be modified according to the new timetable; all services will resume regularly on January 7th.
