How to borrow books independently using La Statale Card
Who can use the service?
All users eligible for borrowing who possess a ‘Carta La Statale’ can use self-service borrowing stations (self-check stations).
How does the service work?
Self-check stations allow users to borrow, return, and renew books quickly and easily.
Self-check stations are available in all University libraries except the Earth Sciences Library (Biblioteca di Scienze della Terra). They can be used throughout library opening hours, even when staff are unavailable.
How to borrow
- Log in using your La Statale Card.
- Place the books on the scanning platform and wait for confirmation.
- Select "Confirm" to complete the transaction.
Book returns and renewals via self-check stations are only available in selected libraries.
