Alfredo Civita Personal Library
This collection includes works by Alfredo Civita (1952-2017), Professor of Epistemology of Human Sciences and History of Psychology at the University of Milan, along with books from his personal library.
The collection, comprising 339 titles, is arranged into three sections available for consultation:
- Section A contains Civita’s own works and publications dedicated to him
- Section B holds the academic texts
- Section D includes books listed in the reading programmes of Civita’s courses
Biography of Alfredo Civita
Alfredo Civita (1952–2017), psychologist and psychotherapist, was for many years a researcher and lecturer in the Epistemology of the Human Sciences and History of Psychology at the University of Milan. A member of the Association for Psychoanalytic Studies, he also taught Elements of Psychoanalysis at the Milan School of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.
