Papyrology Library

The Library originated from the collection of Hellenist and papyrologist Achille Vogliano (1881–1953) and is continuously updated. The collection includes monographs, essays, editions of classical texts, philological studies, reference works, and essential bibliographies for papyrology research. It is the only library in Italy to hold all editions of Greek and Latin papyri

Eeasyplanning update – 12 June 2026

On Friday, 12 June, starting from 14.00, EasyPlanning, the application used to manage seat reservations in the reading rooms of some University libraries, will be updated to a new version
The main new feature concerns the introduction of mandatory authentication at the beginning of the booking process, both for institutional users (using University credentials) and external users (who will need to register when accessing the service for the first time).
If you experience any issues following the update, we recommend clearing your browser cache and cookies, closing and reopening the browser, and then trying to log in again.

From Monday 25 May to Friday 05 June, the Papyrology Library will be closed to the public due to reorganization of the spaces and replacement of the furnishings.
