Library Access and Consultation
How to access libraries and consult collections
Who can use the service?
Students, researchers, academic staff, and all external users interested in the collections for study, personal development or research purposes.
How do I access the library?
Library access is free and unrestricted. However, to secure a study space, users must book a seat via the LezioniUnimi app or web interface. Reading rooms are reserved for users accessing our collections and services, though use as a general study space is permitted when possible.
How does consultation work?
Library materials are available for consultation in dedicated reading areas, designed to accommodate study, research, and collection preservation needs.
- Open-shelf collections are available in reading rooms and can be used freely during library opening-hours.
- Access to closed-stack collections is mediated and must be requested to library staff. Items from off-site storage or requiring special handling can only be consulted under staff supervision during service hours.
