Agricultural and Food Sciences Library

The Library’s collections span a range of disciplines, from agricultural to food sciences, including agronomy, agricultural engineering and hydraulics, animal husbandry, microbiology and food technology, entomology, crop science, agricultural economics, biotechnology, landscape management, and natural resources. It provides 134 seats across seven rooms, all equipped with power sockets, and offers Wi-Fi throughout.

BICF, Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 July closure of the library

Due to maintenance works in via Celoria 18, Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 July the Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Computer Sciences Library - BICF will be closed.
Saturday you can study in the Sala Centrale of the Law and Humanities Library (via Festa del Perdono 7) from 9:00 to 14:00.

Summer Closure 2025

During the summer period, the Agricultural and Food Sciences Library will observe the following schedule:

Until Friday 1 August: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
From Monday, August 4 to Friday, August 15: closed. All services will be suspended.
From Monday, August 18 to Friday, August 29: reduced hours from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Regular opening hours will resume on Monday, September 1.

New Reading Room Added with 10 Seats

The Library of Agricultural and Food Sciences has added a new reading room (Room G) with 10 seats.
Each seat is equipped with a power outlet and Wi-Fi coverage, allowing you to work comfortably with your personal laptop.
