Veterinary Medicine Library

The Library supports study and research in veterinary sciences. The collection includes leading veterinary and animal sciences journals, many biomedical journals, and a substantial number of modern monographs in these disciplines. It also has an important historical section, including rare and valuable works, as well as the most significant part of the Archive of the Milan School of Veterinary Medicine (1807–1934)

Upcoming strike

On Monday, 9 March there may be changes in library hours and services due to a general strike.

6th March 2026

New access control system introduced at the Library of Veterinary Medicine

As part of a trial phase, from Tuesday, 10 March users will have to pass through turnstiles to access the library.

You will be able to access the library with your LaStatale Card or, if you don't have one, with a daily QR-code generated via the LezioniUnimi app or online. Moreover, you won't need to book your seat in the reading room anymore.

The new system will help us gather useful data to monitor access flows and plan improvement actions.
